Longer life for dogbone inserts

GrindSmart^®629XW3/XW models produce dogbone inserts using cup wheels. This technique provides tools of higher quality and longer life thanks to perfectly straight reliefs with outstanding precision. The clamping system specifically developed for this type of tool offers high rigidity and allows the automated handling of inserts.

The dressing of any grinding wheels and the tool measurement with automatic corrections are carried out during the grinding process thus bringing a significant added value to your production. The accuracy of both the grinding wheel and tool geometry also remain constant with this new GrindSmart^® feature.
